Building Queue Tips |
I found it strange to know how little people know about the wonders of the queue.
These ideas mine and are not copied form someone else's so if you have thought of the same thing, don't get pissed off and think I was stealing your ideas.
Comment if you like my tips or not, or if you have any others you would like to share.
QUEUE MAGE TOWERS FOR EASIER MAGES
After Byzantines mage, they have a lot of money. So, after they mage, they should buy some iron and wood, and make mage towers, and put them on hold on queue. So after your attack run, you will have lovely mage towers waiting for you to build, and you do not need to scramble for resources. Other civs can do this after a resourse run or just when they have a lot of wood/iron.
QUEUE BUILDINGS FOR EASIER ATTACKS
When you attack run, you mainly build forts and mines and hunter/wood cutters on your gathered land. So, you queue up lots of forts, wood cutters/hunters and mines, and you let the buildings build themselves so you do not need to click the buildings page every 3 turns. It gives you a lot of red, but, it saves you time.
QUEUE TOOL MAKERS SO YOU CAN END MAGES EASIER
Queue up a lot of tool makers, mage towers, and forts (or towers). When you decide to demolish mage towers, unhold tool makers and put them at the top. this was, after the mage towers demolish the tool makers build automatically. When you have "enough" tool makers, put tool makers on hold again and unhold forts. This lets forts build themselves, so you can be on the "army" page clicking "end turn" "train army" "end turn" "train army" or "end 3 turns" "train army" "end 3 turns"... etc etc, whatever you like to do. For towers after you have yrou tool makers up, just use turns. (From the time you first start to demolish to the time you have a full defense,) It should take 75 turns to put archer army up, 35 turns to put tower defense up. This means LOTSA tool makers.
BROWSERS
I have usually 4 open when I run. And I always have had for since... long time.
First one on "scores" page
Second on "attack"
Third on "Army"
Fourth on food (rationing usually).
I find targets, copy number, paste into attack page.
(Scores need to be refreshed once in a while)
I click attack on attack page
I use 3 turns on army page, train army.
I use one turn. Train more army.
(I don't need to go to the buildings page because my forts build when I get the land)
Take another turn. If there's space, I'll train more army.
Another turn. Army comes home.
If there is a lot of army done training in one turn (swordsmen) I'll take another turn. If not, I repeat the process
If I run out of population, I use thr fourth browser to change rationing. If I need more special buildings (houses, farms etc.), if my queue runs out, or if I want to reply to a message, I use my fourth browser.
HOMELESS STUFF
To homeless, use theives to attack, then catapults. --DarkDestroyers/Andy
To unhomeless yourself, "lock up" wood and iron by putting them all in your queue. --Noc or DS
USEFULNESS OF BLOCKING PEOPLE
Oh yeah... one more thing I do... I block people who hit me maging, so I know to hit them back when they are maging. You can do that too. Block messages from anyone you want to remind yourself to hit or whatever.
Don't hit me maging because I'll get pissed off. And block you. lol. Hitting magers takes no skill whatsoever, and those who do should die a terrible painful death. Well, at least those who hit me should. |
